The first show I was given the responsibility of managing hair and makeup. I assisted the Costume Shop with makeup design, maintained wigs during the run of a show with a 36 member ensemble, and maintained makeup designs. Multiple quick changes between hats and wigs required constant monitoring and an efficient run process.
Romeo and Juliet
I was given the privilege of designing the hair and makeup for Romeo and Juliet in conjunction with Costume Shop Manager Lynne Forth for my senior thesis in 2023. After designs were established, actors were taught makeup for the run and wigs were maintained for consistency. Some actors were assisted each night with their looks.
